There are 2 types of websites, the "normal" ones: These are the ones that you regularly use when you are close the computer screen. Examples of these websites are amazon.com, CNN.com, your company website, etc.
The second type of websites are the ones designed to be used in full screen mode and the bigger the screen the better. I call these websites "Digital Walls" because when a big screen is installed on a wall and the big screen is controlled by a computer which is connected to Internet, it transforms the dull wall into a "life wall" that could be used in a number of applications:
- Digital Signage
- Digital Frame
- Digital Poster
A big screen that's is updated frequently creates a great experience.
Scenarios to Show the Benefits of a "Digital Wall"
Digital Signage, Digital Frame, Digital Poster are the generic categories for the kind of applications where a "Digital Wall" could be used. Here is list of scenarios for the digital wall but in reality the Imagination is the Limit.
Scenario 1:
I'm the owner of a company and I need my employees to know what is the status of the Key Performance Indicators and most importantly what we are doing to continuously improve them. I could provide these information on a "normal" website but the impact will be better if a create a "Digital Wall" in the "break room" or any place where the employees share some time so they can see and discuss the important variables and actions.
Scenario 2:
I just want to show my parents the pictures I take regularly of my family and my trips. I could get a digital frame (most of the time they are very small and not easy for me to update regularly) so I decided to use a "Digital Wall" so I update the pictures using my web page created with Alephi.
Scenario 3:
I own a chain of 10 convenience stores and I want a digital sign to show to the customers different offers but the Price of digital signage is very expensive. Using Alephi's "Digital Wall" I can deploy my 10 digital signs for the price of a website.
